I've seen many advertised websites costing less than $100.  Why should I go with you instead?

The "Do-it-Yourself" sites offer some features, but often omit things you'll want later.  Let's say you change your mind about the placement of pictures, or the size of a text file.  You'll probably end up paying for the site again, because they are very inflexible.  As you live with your website over time, we know you'll want some changes.  Towards that end, we want to earn your business and help you create a usable, interesting site.   For a few,  initial extra extra bucks you can get a great site that will stand up over time.
What if I need something very complex, that you can't handle?
No single website design shop knows everything.
If we can't do it,  we'll freely recommend ways to get it done.   But we warn you... we know a lot.
I'm a busy person.  Frankly, I don't have the time to sit around picking colors and fine-tuning a site.  Can you do it for me?
Sure.  That's what we do.

We also have a marketing background which helps us understand your goals.  You provide the initial advertising copy, sales pitch, etc., together with some digital photos.
(If you do not have photos, we can take pics for a small fee.)

We'll then produce a working site based on what we've discussed.  Usually, thru email exchange, you tell us what you didn't like and want to change.  A few tweaks here and there, and your website will be up and running on the World Wide Web, usually within days.
Search Engine Optimization  (SEO) is included with every website.  We will include keywords, meta tags, sitemaps, etc  etc  etc -all intended to lift your page in every major search engine ranking.  But let's get real for a moment... While we'll maximize for the best possible ranking, no honest site developer would ever GUARENTEE a ranking.

There are many variables that come into play regarding search engine results.  You may be able to have Yahoo list you as #3 on page one, but to Google, you're still on page 5.

Rankings aside, a good website tells customers many things:
  * You're serious about customer service
  * Your business has "arrived."
  * You'll be easy to reach for repeat business.
  * A website displays products and services  24/7
  * Websites are the "new yellow pages".
Can our site be on page one of Google?
